Bill’s early passing, his struggles with alcohol addiction, fleeing to Mexico in 1962 and the hurt he left behind with Bill Jr.’s family. Bill speaks about the conversations he had with his father later in his life.
His father started to write his own biography and where that manuscript is today.
Acquiring the name- The Comets.
Playing in January 2015 at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, IA with Tommy Allsup who played with Buddy Holly on his last performance at The Surf before tragically dying in a plane crash that evening.
